We understand that KIA is building a plant in West Point. I understand that, yes, it is big news. But was it such a big thing to take up the entire first block of the news? I think not. As a friend put it:

"...that mindlessly reiterating the same point for the entire first block isn't informative, it's insulting? And when you tell people, "we'll show you how this plant in west point will affect residents of columbus and auburn" you've made a promise and when you don't deliver what you promised, that's not just bad journalism, it's unethical."

Also, send your anchors to grammar school. Teach them the difference between "has" and "have". If they can't speak well, why should I listen/believe them?

Since that other blog bashes WRBL all the time, and every other thing that has call letters attached to it, I think I'll do the same for you.

So I can't belive that SEATTLE lost last night. Yea check that link. It's the only reason I was going for them.... haha.

So my mom called to let me know that she paid off my Visa Platinum card. I didn't ask her to do that but she just did. Love my mom...

If your teleprompter should stop working (or the operator falls asleep) you should have a script for the anchor to read from instead of stopping mid-sentence, waiting for it to catch up.

Apparently this is the week of wrecks. Wrecks just keep happening. A car apparently slid underneath an 18-Wheeler right past the Summerville Road exit. It's suspected as being a fatal accident. Not good

Phenix City Police are on the scene of an accident on Highway 280. Eyewitnesses say a car crashed into an 18 wheeler in the westbound lanes of Highway 280… near Wal-Mart and Summerville Road. Police say one person is dead. Traffic is backed up in both directions. Police advise drivers to avoid that area if possible.

When you do a shot from the "Newsroom", could you turn the police scanners (THAT ARE ON THE SAME DESK as the "reporter") off or turn them down? I know it's a small newsroom but all you hear is the squelching. I mean the squelching from the scanners...not the reporter.
